
Philippine Web Awards honors UNTVweb.com as People's Choice for media website

UNTV 37 online presence (www.untvweb.com), TOP ICT client for streaming media and web leased internet services, was honored the People's Choice in the media website category during the 9th Philippine Web Awards.
This was the second straight year for UNTV 37 in the Philippine Web Awards derby. The Media G8Way-organized event is one of the most highly-anticipated award-giving body for web creativity and excellence in the country.
Untvweb.com, a finalist in the media category, was declared the people's favorite site as a result of the online and SMS voting. UNTV competed with media giant GMANews.tv, which received the Best Media Site.
In its online home, UNTV 37 provides simulated video streaming of the programs or shows aired on television. This free video service is one of the reasons the site has gained popularity because it reached not only the Filipino net community in the Philippines but also those in other countries.
Alaminos City, UNTV37 websites now official finalists to the 9th Philippine Web Awards

Alaminos City Government website (www.alaminoscity.gov) and UNTV 37 (www.untvweb.com) are now official finalists at the 9th Philippine Web Awards, the most prestigious award-giving honors for design and creative excellence for websites.
Philippine Web Awards screened over 150 Philippine websites this year and should only come up with five finalists per category who will vie for the Best Website and People's Choice Award.
In the government category, other finalists include: the Local Governance Resource Center, Science City of Muñoz and the provincial government of Bulacan.
Finalists, however, in the media category include the Art Sentral Manila Magazine, GMAnews.tv, Good News Pilipinas and RMN networks.
Winners will be awarded on December 7, 2006 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, Podium 4 of the RCBC Plaza located in Makati City.
Saudi Arabia-based ABHGroup launches entertainment media portal for British compound in KSA
